Fred Bayliss is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Architectural Technologist with decades of experience in architecture, project management and the construction industry and has a first class practical knowledge of building techniques, particularly in the Cotswold area.

From qualifying as an architectural technologist in one of the country's oldest and respected architectural practices, Eric Cole & Partners then running the successful family building business, S. J. Bayliss (Quenington) Ltd, Fred joined, then became a partner at one of the Cotswolds' most renowned practices, Yiangou Architects LLP. As head of the technical department, he led the production of working drawings, specifications and contract particulars and as contract administrator oversaw the projects through to completion.

Having run his own building firm Fred is in the rare position of being able to appreciate and understand the complete design and build process from both the client and contractor perspective.
